A workshop on Sewage Management titled “ভালোবাসা দিবস একদিন শহরকে ভালোবাসি প্রতিদিন” was held on 14 February 2021 at a local hotel in Gulshan, Dhaka. The programme was organized by Dhaka North City Corporation.
Mr. Md. Tajul Islam, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, graced the programme as the Chief Guest and Mr. Helal Uddin Ahemd, Senior Secretary, Local Government Department was present as the Special Guest while Mr. Md. Atiqul Islam, Honorable Mayor, DNCC presided over the workshop.
Ar. Mubasshar Hussain, President, IAB, Ar. Farhana Sharmin Emu, General Secretary, IAB and Ar. Iqbal Habib, FIAB, IAB attended the program.
As Guest of Honour Ar. Mubasshar Hussain, President, IAB also spoke at the event where he emphasised on the modernisation and proper Sewage Management System including its proper maintenance for the City. Besides Ar. Iqbal Habib also spoke on this occasion on behalf of the architects fraternity.
Prof. Dr. Mujibur Rahman of BUET delivered the Keynote Speech at the event.
