The UIA has expressed concern about the fate of two Modernist buildings in Bangladesh threatened by demolition: Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka (1968) and the Teacher Student Centre of Dhaka University (1960). UIA President Thomas Vonier has expressed his solidarity with the IAB’s campaign against the demolition.
