The 23rd Executive Council of IAB is delighted to announce that, a Student Awards Program is being introduced from this year - 2019. IAB is happy to have KSRM- a leading steel manufacturer of Bangladesh, as the sponsor for this noble initiative. In the name of “KSRM Awards for Future Architects”- in association with IAB, the award is intended to recognize the best thesis/final projects of the graduating students of IAB accredited architecture schools of Bangladesh, to honor the studio teachers, the schools and to showcase the selected exemplary thesis/ final projects of the architecture schools.

The Official Letter, Brief with Declaration form has already been sent to the Heads of IAB accredited Architecture Departments on October 24, 2019.

Each school would be able to submit maximum 3 (three) projects in each award cycle. Project/Thesis that had its defense from July 2018 to June 2019 is eligible to take part in current Award Cycle of 2019.

IAB is now calling for entries from the accredited architecture schools to submit their nominated projects for the aforesaid program.
